Sunlight of the Spirit

Today after church I went to the little shop Sunlight of the Spirit.  The atmosphere was fantastic and beautiful!  There was artwork from top to bottom, including a lovely mural of a sun, clouds and angels on the ceiling by their skylight.  The employee told me they had a classically trained painter guy from Spain come over to do it.

There were angel statues on almost every shelf, and soft pretty music playing.  It was such a relaxing, nurturing experience I was in a solemn, deeply calm state.  I saw a really cool book about dance and spirituality, and another one that was a calendar with poems from Rudolf Steiner and veil paintings from a woman artist.

I bought “The Original Angel Cards” and some bookmarks from Jennifer Bundey.  Brenda Boles also had some artwork around that was so beautiful.  On my way out I picked up a copy of Balanced Life magazine.

So many artists are doing their life service and it has made me very contemplative today.  I have been reflecting on what my next step is…..I have tomorrow off and my goal is to clean my art studio and office.  I have been so prolific in the past two years that all the various projects need to be organized.  It’s tempting to leave the house to hang out with my friends and shop, but I must not procrastinate any more.  I want to also get to the garage that’s a storage for all my art supplies and my family room-turned-art studio for some classes I want to teach in September.  Finally, there are tons of emails I need to respond to.  With all the traveling and work I’ve been doing, there isn’t a lot of time for emails. So if you’re waiting for an email from me, it’s coming!

Wish me luck, I hope you all are well,

xoxo

What’s goin on…

Hi to all my angel friends:

So with the commission finished, my client happy, I feel a weight has been lifted.  I am free to pursue my theta painting teaching and get to work on publishing my books.  My graphic recording gig (my first professional job) was a success!  I forgot to sign it though, and didn’t have time to color in certain things, it was just too hectic and we needed to get out of the room to make way for the following session.  Bummer, but I think I can get a hold of the mural and “fix it up” later…..

I just got back from a weeklong conference in San Francisco (redwood city actually) at the french hotel sofitel, and it was fabulous.  It was the International Forum of Visual Practitioners.  Omg, I was in heaven!!  100 people doing what they love and succeeding at it!!??  100 artists!!  I am so grateful!  Grateful like the sun!  A feeling of love like I haven’t felt in a while.

It has been 20 years or so since I’ve been amidst a group of people who were so happy, doing what they love and being so kind and friendly and welcoming to me.  It was like a dry sponge finally getting water.  I loved the warmth and acceptance there.  It gave me hope that I too could do what they are doing and “make it” on my own.

I met all kinds of artists who do graphic recording and graphic facilitation, I got all kinds of gifts and met some lovely new friends.  I couldn’t be happier right now, especially since I met David Sibbett and there could be a chance of doing some online course development for him.

Now I am unpacking and taking it easy.  Don’t know where my life will lead now….. So overwhelmed with all the good, I can’t even ponder the future except that I know something is brewing.  Feel like writing some poetry.  Curled up with a blankey, and dreading going to the office tomorrow.  So tired of the J.O.B. it’s not possible to express in words.  Maybe the universe will have mercy on me and put me somewhere happy–where joy is okay, and even a requirement.  Now that I have experienced the tangible bliss of the environment of that conference, I can’t imagine going back to that sad, gray building.  Where it’s typical to see people trudging around looking like they just bit into a lemon.  Sigh.

Next steps?  Well, I am partnering with a local gallery/boutique to teach expressive art there.  Still looking for a gallery to partner with that can house Creativeful Kids.  I need a space where I can teach art inside and outside, and can show my own work, and where I can have a dedicated room for my class.  I could tidy up my office and plan for graphic recording marketing.

It feels like an autumn day.  So much to do.  Want a vacation.  Gonna call in lots of angels to get me through this life transition.  I feel change bubbling up fast.

I think poetry is the only thing that’s gonna get me through this day.

Whoa, Nellie

Well folks, I have some pressing business that came up, so I must put a few things on hold for the moment.  The online subscription lesson will not roll out on July 4th but will later.  We are busy planning ways to get everything done, because we don’t want to disappoint those of you who have been inquiring.

I will have staff working on a few things for me, but I need to take care of a few wonderful but time-consuming things.  One of the things I’ll be preparing for is graphic recording.  I have a gig and it is my first professional job doing GR.  And it’s in Tahoe– one of my favorite places!  I hope to bring my oil paints with me and do some landscapes while there.  Wish me luck!  It should be great!

Hope you all are taking time for yourselves, painting, doing tai chi or something calming in the midst of a hectic life.  Remember to call to the angels for help with all you do.  You are not alone.  Let’s all try and remember that right now!

Love u all very much, xoxo

Angel and Creativity Coaching!

Yes, I did it!

After all the years of personal and spiritual coaching friends and family informally, and fulfilling the inner nudge towards counseling, I realized last year that maybe coaching would really suit my skills and interests and abilities…?  I couldn’t get it off my mind.  Then I found some private, forgotten journals from years ago that explored coaching as a possible career for myself!  I had forgotten all about it!

Well I finished my certification program recently and I am now a Certified Life Coach with a specialty in Angel coaching and Creativity coaching.  I am so happy!!!  This feels so “on purpose” and my heart desire to help people live their passions is going to really blossom.  How perfect this is for me, since I didn’t want to become a psychologist or career counselor in college.  This is so much better because it has more flexibility and creativity.

When I studied psychology all those years, it was so negative and there was only emphasis on dysfunction.  There also was no acknowledgement of God or angelic help, which I could not tolerate.  With coaching I get to focus on what is my life purpose: contemplating the angelic Presence, the Presence of the Guardian Angel, color healing, creativity and artistic planning which brings clarity.  I can use my creative graphic planning skills, all my years of education and experience, and my angel wisdom to help people leverage the Angelic Host for guidance.

Wonderful!

If you go to my new website (still in development) www.AngelArtsInstitute.com you’ll see the Coaching link.  There you’ll find a list of my packages.  I spent months in deep prayer and meditation to formulate the proper packages for you.  I believe this is the best I can offer, but don’t be surprised if I add more elements because I want to give you the best value for your time and dollar.

I am in the final stages of perfecting the tools I will use to help my clients, so please be patient.  Feel free to comment in the blog when I get that going, too.  I would love to hear feedback!

If you are ready for human and angelic help to follow your heart and discover your true purpose in life, let me know.  If you are an artist who needs help finishing a project or overcoming a creative block, please don’t struggle alone anymore.  Contact me.  It would be an honor to assist you!

xoxo

Caltrans Employee Craft Show- June 24, 2010

Well, what can I say?  It was interesting!

I never experienced a show quite like it, but I will say it was a learning experience!  It was last Thursday and I had 3 staff members.  Friends and family came, even a few coworkers. The angel cookies were delicious and the new small paintings were so lovely.  It was the first time I announced that I am now a Certified Angel Life Coach specializing in Angel Guidance and also in Creativity coaching.  I also had a list of my 7 books that are 98% finished.  I had fliers for my new website, Angel Arts Institute- for which my sister the webmaster and I worked unceasingly for 2 weeks.  I had a copy of the first chapter of my book on angelic Theta Painting, and information about my coaching packages.

Luckily the show was 2 1/2 hours, but the work involved was the same as for a larger show.  I had on my gold high heels (2 inches) and I was eager to take them off!

We had a teensy tiny counter (yes, I said counter) to use for the art display, and my beloved staff did the best they could.  The greeting cards were fabulous in their shiny new sleeves and we brought one large landscape which looked radiant.  We had two gold tablecloths and that helped a lot.  The two large tables I had requested had been absconded with, and no substitute was made to accommodate my art.  Needless to say, I don’t think we’ll be returning next year!  Next time I will get specifics on space dimensions!  Unfortunately, the crowds were thin, as I didn’t see any balloons or advertisements on the sidewalk.  We couldn’t figure out where all the people were..?  But, alas, it was at lunch, and the end of the month when no one had any $$ left, so we understood.  Still, I sold some things and that was nice.  Many people seemed to enjoy the angels, and that made me happiest.

Angels and painted rocks in progress

More angels with kids, originally for a Montessori conference last year. I didn't finish them in time for the conference! So sweet! My mother really likes the angel with baby cherub.

I dressed up in white with all my angel jewelry and a friend, Javier Del Rio, took a lot of pictures.  He’s a professional photographer and I was very grateful he was there.  He was the only ‘guest’ who seemed to understand my new, abstract vibrational paintings.  They were small paintings (6 x 12)–one for each of the 7 Archangels.  Each painting was done in the color representing that Angel, and had His name written 3 times in gold relief paint, then painted in the stroke that came to me as I contemplated that Angel and prayed for His energy to bless the painting and the observer for all eternity.  I think they are magical!  Each one was treated with aromatherapy and I used Vib-O water in the making of them.

Vib-O is my new product which I think I told you about earlier:  Purified water that has been charged by crystals and the sun and the 7 Archangels 7 x 70 billion times per minute for 7 days.  Each bottle has had prayer and ceremony to bless it, and each one has an intentional quality like wealth, love, angel joy, creativity etc.  I am so thrilled with my new vibrational water!!  I got the name “O” because the French word for water is “eau” pronounced “oh”.  I hope to add color therapy to them soon.

Vib-O packed and ready to ship

They can be used for drinking, a bottle can be added to a bath for spa therapy, or you can water a plant with it for an extra boost and blessing, and you can use it for painting for your brushes.  It is truly a miracle substance and I am very proud of it.  Each bottle has a ribbon of the color corresponding to the Vib-O intended quality, and there is a cute little tag explaining about the Vib-O.  I am in LOVE with this water.  Once again, the Angels gave me a divine idea fully formed in my mind’s eye, and I had to work it out on this plane until it was ready for public consumption.  What a blessing!  They are for sale at all of my live workshops for $2/bottle or $5/gallon.  I hope you get to sample some, soon, because the feeling is so divine when you drink it.  Seriously, I get chills all over when I drink it, and they have no fizzy added to them!  You’ll just have to come over and try it some time.

All day I was observing people.  I saw so many lights and sparkles in the air and emanating from people, it was really pretty!  If people only knew what sorts of light comes shooting out from them they would be amazed.  I don’t mean to see it, I just do.  I often try really hard NOT to see what I see.  It can be very distracting if I am not careful.  I think the colors change with the change in a person’s emotions and thoughts.  When their moods shift, the colors and sparkles shift.  I can sort of see all about them by the stuff going on around the physical form.  Trippy!

I played this beautiful animated picture of a Guardian Angel on my laptop for the crowd and many visitors enjoyed it.  It is my favorite rendition of a Guardian Angel!  It is so gorgeous and has colored sacred fire animated, too.  It was painted by a woman years ago named May DaCamara.  She did a lovely job!  That was before all the technology we have now.  Now, some technical whiz has animated it and it is very cool!  It was $25 from a company called the Saint Germain Foundation.  Check it out!

After the show, my staff took me out to lunch at a thai restaurant to cheer me up.  We were all sort of trying to look at the bright side of the day.  I had even hurt myself lifting things to and fro.  Oh well, it was what it was, right?  I went home after that and fell into bed.  Being an artist can be so vulnerable sometimes.  You work hard and then accept that you are going to live out loud, then sometimes it feels that nobody is “getting” your work and ugh, it can feel like a letdown.  But, we paint to live, and so must not get caught up in the reaction of others.  Artists have to do their art no matter who doesn’t like it.  I am no exception.

I can’t even think of doing another show right now, although there are people asking me to have a booth at their events.  I need to catch up on my homework and prepare my new, online subscription for Theta Painting due to unveil on July 4th.  I’ll tell you more about that soon!  So wonderful!!! Monthly free-expression angel painting once a month with AngelChi and a guided angel contemplation!  Marvelous!!!

Pretty paint water (vib-o peace water, that is!)

My gosh life is good, isn’t it?

Workshop Bliss, Prosperity and Divine Angel Presence!

Hi Everyone!

Well life has been moving along at breakneck speed, but it has been wonderful.  Working hard to launch several new businesses is never easy, but sooooo very worth it!

Getting back to the workshop, it took a long while to prepare for it, but with help, it all was perfect.  The guests all arrived, most were on time, the gift table was ready and beautiful, the backyard table was ready and the tea salon was lovely.

Gift Table at my Guardian Angel Workshop

AngelChi was so delightful!  I had to refer often to my little pink notepad because I jotted down the sequence and didn’t want to have to rely on memory.  Everybody seemed to love it!  And so did I.  The deep breathing and the slow, meditative movements with the adoration for the Angelic Host was just so beautiful.  One of my guests walks with a cane and I had told her she could just sit and do the arm movements.  Well, she surprised us all and stood up and did every single motion!  She seemed to love it the most!  She kept saying “My body doesn’t hurt!  My leg doesn’t hurt!  I love this!”

I created these cute little bracelets (another divine inspiration) with ribbons because I suddenly thought, “what could make our arms more like angel wings?”  The idea just “popped” into my mind’s eye!  I saw those gymnastic dancers with those long colorful ribbons and knew that was my answer.  I would have loved to use my angel malas, however I still haven’t figured out how to attach the clasps, so I used gold metallic pipe cleaners, made circles, and tied multicolored curling ribbon around them.  Awesome!!!!!!  Everybody put them on except the one guy present.  The ladies looked beautiful as they did their AngelChi with those ribbons waving in the wind!

Then I led the group in a contemplation of the sun and seeing their Guardian Angel.  I asked them to take note how the angel’s arms were positioned, the head, and the colors around the Angel.  Then I suggested that they ask their Angel what It wanted them to know in particular at this time.  It was wonderful!

Then we painted!  My gosh, it took a while, even though I worked out the lesson beforehand, nobody wanted to freehand their Angel.  So we used french curve templates and rulers and it still took a long time!  Gosh.  I need to work on that! My assistant did a great job refilling water, squeezing out paint where needed and fetching tools.  The wind was merciless that day, but nobody wanted to move indoors to the family room-turned art studio.

My darling students and their beautiful work!

At 12:30 when the class was to end, they weren’t finished!  So we stopped for fresh coffee and angel food cake with fresh strawberries.  Nothing ever tasted so good!  Then we painted until 3:30.

Me with the class, I am the one in back with violet on

I handed out Certificates of Achievement and waved goodbye and went straight to bed!  I was so happy and the guests (after shopping and buying tons of angels gifts I made) were glowing as they left.  They couldn’t stop saying how much fun they had and how the angels really touched them.  I never felt happier.  In fact, I can’t remember feeling so good, tired as I was.

It took a week before my body stopped being sore and I caught up on sleep, but still, the joy inside was overflowing.  Then, I got word that a staff art show was being organized at Caltrans.  Guess what?  I got in, paid my entrance fee and it was time to prepare…….  Rest?  What rest?  stay tuned…..!

Downtown Women’s Club & Home Tour

Hi Dear Friends:

I have been appointed Assistant Director to the Downtown Women’s Club and their first meeting is on Wednesday the 23rd 7pm at Tupelo Cafe on Elvas.  I will be in church that night so I can’t make it.  However I encourage all women who own or wish to start their own small business to check it out.  This will be an awesome group!

I will be volunteering at the Mid-Century Modern Home Tour on Saturday the 26th.  I hope to network with some people about my Ascension Art Abstracts and maybe they can be put in the tour next year or in similar home tours.  We’ll see how it goes!  Either way it will be fun!  So if you’d like to visit, here is the website.  SacMCMHomeTour@gmail.com

Take care and have a miracle day!  I’ve got to get back to house cleaning!
